Spent two days with these guys at some awesome sites. Samadai is pretty magical, with a strong chance of swimming with dolphins. Would love to have seen some dugongs but maybe next time. Well looked after by the team and would be happy to return.

First class team at Deep South Divers. Signed up for three days of dives and every dive site was impressive. Modi also went the extra mile to ensure that we got to see a sea cow during our trip! Responsive and patient with questions, thorough trip organisation (including transfers and bonus falafel sandwiches), and professional service. Equipment was maintained well too. Will definitely dive with them again. Thanks for the hospitality and sharing with me the beauty of Marsa Alam and the Red Sea. Shukran awi!

I’ve been diving with Deep South Divers in April 2023 and had a great time with them in Marsa Alam. From the first contact (booking/organisation of the trip) to the diving, everything went smoothly and was well organised. Regarding Deep South Divers: they have a great team of young professional dive instructors and masters and made the right priorities (1. Safety, 2. Fun). Equipment was in good condition and the location in Tondoba is perfect to dive from the shore. Regarding diving Red Sea: there are several beautiful and diverse dive spots around Marsa Alam and as it’s yet not too overcrowded, the reefs are all in great condition (as far as I can judge). I got to see several rays, turtles, octopus, eels, etc. Apparently spring isn’t the best season to see sharks, thus I’ll go back and for sure will dive again with Deep South Divers.

We have chosen Deep South Divers based on the outstanding number of positive reviews shared here. And we must admit they do not lie:) Me and my wife have spent 5 days scuba diving with them and it was perfect experience. The staff is very professional and keeps safety as the first priority. At the same time all divemasters that guided us through our underwater experience were friendly and fun to spend time with. They were very attentive and helped us with setting and putting on gear making our pre-dive preparations very comfortable. They are communicative and their English is on very good level. The gear is overall well maintained. Every day we have dived in a different location - both offshore, zodiac or speedboat. All locations were nice and worth to see. Their prices are transparent and compared to other diving bases I have checked are a bit friendlier. I also appreciate assistance with arranging the airport pick-up. Very responsive and straight to point communication. Bottom line: Next time we dive with them again!

Great dive centre, with lots of different dive sites accessible from shore or boat. Friendly staff, who try hard to accommodate your wishes.Located right on the beach, near a great restaurant and cafe, plus over the road (5 minutes walk) is the Deep South Eco Lodge, which makes a perfect match - of affordable, good accommodation (with amazing meals!), diving and eating and relaxation, as well as a easily accessible reef nearby to snorkel on when not diving. It is quite a way (15 minutes drive) from Marsa Alam town centre so remote, but this is its beauty and makes for a very chilled base. Some people do travel (& get collected) from their other hotels etc if not staying over the road at the EcoLodge. Enjoy!
