After finishing their Divemaster program, scuba divers who want to advance in their careers can enrol in Marsa Alam Deep South Divers’ Assistant Instructor Course.
In order to become a competent scuba diving instructor, this curriculum offers a rigorous, practical way to learn the ropes. In both the classroom and out on the open sea, participants will acquire cutting-edge methods for managing their students, creating engaging lessons, and delivering effective training.
In addition to honing teaching talents, this course places an emphasis on developing leadership qualities, all in the name of preparing participants to become Open Water Diving Instructors. Assistant Instructor Course Requirements:
- Age: Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- Certification: Must hold a valid Divemaster certification or equivalent from a recognized scuba diving training organization.
- Experience: A minimum of 60 logged dives to begin the course and 100 dives to complete the certification.
- Medical clearance: You must present a signed medical statement from a doctor certifying your fitness for scuba diving within the previous 12 months.
- First Aid and CPR Certificate: Must have completed a First Aid and CPR course within the last 24 months.
- Insurance: Candidates must have current professional liability insurance.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Flexible Booking: We offer the option to cancel your booking up to 48 hours before your scheduled dive, allowing for a full refund.
- Refunds: Refunds are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of the course.
- No Shows: Refunds will only be issued for participants who attend with prior notice.
- Weather: At Marsa Alarm Deep South Divers’ discretion, dives may be rescheduled or refunded in case of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
- Medical Concerns: If you are unable to participate in the scheduled dive due to medical reasons, please notify us as soon as possible. A doctor’s note will be required for a full refund.

- Insurance: Participants are advised to have valid dive insurance covering them for the duration of the course.
- Equipment Loss or Damage: Participants may be held responsible for loss or significant damage to equipment due to negligence.
- Image Use Consent: We may capture photographs or videos during the experience. By participating, you consent to the use of these images for our promotional materials unless you explicitly opt-out.
