Take your diving career to the next level with the Deep South Divers’ Divemaster Course.
The PADI Divemaster course is the first level of professional diving certification. It is designed to prepare divers to work as dive professionals, assisting instructors in training programs, leading certified divers on guided dives, and providing support to the diving operation.
The Divemaster course covers a wide range of topics, including dive theory, dive leadership and management, and dive skills development. During the course, students will also have the opportunity to gain experience assisting in training programs, leading divers, and conducting dive briefings and debriefings.
To enroll in the Divemaster course, students must be at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 60 logged dives. They must also be certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, and Emergency First Response (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 40 hours of experience as a certified diver.
The Divemaster course is an intensive and challenging program that requires significant time and effort, but it is also a rewarding and fulfilling experience that provides divers with a wealth of knowledge and skills. Upon completion of the course, Divemasters will be able to work as dive professionals in dive centers and resorts around the world.
