Moreover, whether you want to join our team or work anywhere in the world, this course gives you the skills, confidence, and experience employers actually look for.
Unlike courses that rush you through in a few days, our program runs 5 practical application days minimum, with options extending to 2 weeks or even 1 month. Additionally, you will practice at professional-level standards from Day 1 because a Divemaster must perform like a Pro, not just a certified diver. Consequently, graduates leave ready for real employment.
Why Choose Deep South Divers for Your SSI Divemaster Course?
5 Days of Practical Application — Minimum
Most Divemaster programs are theory-heavy with minimal water time. However, at Deep South Divers, you spend 5 full days in practical application from 7:30 AM to 4-5 PM with real dives, real guiding, and real scenarios. Moreover, if you choose the extended program, you get up to 2 weeks of intensive training.
Train in Professional Standards From Day 1
On Day 1, you will practice all Open Water skills at professional demonstration quality. After all, as a Divemaster, you will assist instructors and certify students, so your own skills must be flawless. Consequently, we hold you to the same standard we expect from our own team. Furthermore, any weaknesses are identified and corrected immediately.
Learn Real Dive Center Operations
This course goes far beyond leading dives. In fact, you will learn how to handle dive center paperwork, plan the day, select dive sites suitable for your divers, organize logistics, and plan dives, including gas consumption calculations. Additionally, you will see the full operation from filling tanks to closing the dive day. Therefore, you graduate with operational knowledge that most Divemaster courses skip entirely.
Learn From Instructor Trainer Moudi Heikal
Your training is led by Mahmoud “Moudi” Heikal, an SSI Instructor Trainer with 7,000+ logged dives and years of real-world experience.
